Pairing vibrant metropolitan convenience with the secluded exclusivity of a high-end community, it’s not hard to see why Deer Park has become a sought-after destination for buyers of all ages and demographics.

The History of Deer Park

Deer Park’s roots date back to the mid-1800s when Toronto’s wealthy Health family bought up a sizable portion of land surrounding the intersection of Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue.

During the neighbourhood’s early years as a rural community, it was home to a small hotel where guests could feed wild deer that roamed the property – eventually inspiring the name Deer Park. After being annexed by the City in 1908, it was quickly developed into an upper-middle-class suburb.
